"When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be." - Patanjali

Muscat III

The following are pics of a couple of mosques. The first is of the massive Sultan Qaboos, which can hold heaps and heaps and heaps of people! The second is just a random mosque, but i found it quite elegant...The arabic script is also quite beautiful...

loving the photos, hrish. architecture is stunniing- clean lines and gothic curves, simple but rich. also, the name "Muscat" brings all sorts of associations to mind - somehow involving grapes, frankincense and myrrh.
