"When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be." - Patanjali

A few things

1. Wow! Thats a lot of comment so soon! Am impressed! Keep it up...I'll try and put more decent stuff, but it's great to hear what ppl think, so keep posting...

2. With re the Caption comp...the sadest comment of them all goes to Jigglypuff...the most creative to KLN Prassanna; the "and one time at band camp" award to Abhishek; and the "Make Hrishi look good" award is shared between Vish and Priya.

But there can only be one winner, and it goes to bal-krishna (the real BK), still suffering a hangover from his shrimps and barbie visit to Aus...I'll some how get something out to you in the UK, mate!

3. I just discovered Blogger will send an email to anyone on my list everytime i post something online. If you want this email, email me, so it can save you having to check the site everyday. Also for everyone in Aus or anywhere really, can you send me your birstday as well, i lost the contacts on my phone...

4. Finally, Swati, yes, Shanti Niketan is a real place, made famous by Tagore. And I arrived in Amritsar this afternoon, spent 2 hours at the Sona Mandir, and walked very briefly through Jalianwalia Bagh. Will see it properly tom. Too many kids running around everywhere. Wait till they're at school.

Caption Time!

Here's a chance to poke fun my way...write a caption in the comments, and the best one, as selected by yours trully will get something special from here...I'm serious!

Photo-ing Around

So I hope this comes out ok. I finally learned how to use the long exposure thing on my cam, and took this pic, of the mountains from outside my room, on a cloudless, full moon night...

I've seen it on another comp and its come out real well, but I fear for it on other comps. Anyways for the photographic buffs, i used a 10 second exposure on an ISO of 100.

Do you enjoy...

...travelling??
Are you nimble on your feet and in your mind?
Can you do quick additions and subtractions with 100% accuracy?
Can you whistle on demand?
Are you able to remember the faces of a hundred people? Can you give quick, witty answers to subdue those who may be annoyed?
Are you able to not pay attention to majestic scenery and focus on the job at hand?
Do you love to have all parts of your body juiceyly squeezed up against others as you move up and down a crowded gangway?
Does the smell of your own sweat thrill your senses?
And the smell of other peoples sweat?
Are you able to not care for the safety of people as they perilously hang from the door of a moving vehicle?

Well if you answered yes to most of those questions, then working as a conductor for the Himachal Pradesh Roads and Transport Co is for you!!!!

Shout outs to Radha and Jay for contributing to this as we made our way, one evening, from Dharamshala to the Ashram...
